Come play with our human sized cat toys and be amazed by huge ball of yarn.  Watch out for the cucumber on the floor, it is not a snake.  

Did you ever want to climb on a human-sized cat tree?  This is your chance..

Come rest in one of our human-sized cat beds.

Come to one of our tea times to have hot tea and cookies or try our special hot weather drink, cat piss

Join one of our occasional yoga sessions to stretch out that cat body

Tent campers will have overhead shade to protect from direct sun exposure..  There will also be shade on the southern and western sides of the tent camping shade structure..

This is a private area intended only for people camping with Cozy Cat Camp.

Cozy Cat Camp will also have a common area with shade.  This area will be open to camp visitors and camp participants.  Cozy Cat Camp will provide some seating intended mostly for camp guests.  Please bring your own seating to Burning Man to ensure you always have a place to sit. 

Cozy Cat Camp will have a simple community kitchen.  This will consist of a stove, some cooking utensils and pots, and a sterilization station. 

This is a community resource - you must keep it clean and wash all cooking implements.  

There are NO camp-wide meals. 

There is NO freezer or refrigerator - get a cooler.   

Cozy Cat Camp will have a cat litterbox - our very own camp porta-potty.  No long lines and dirty porta-potties for our kitten

 Cozy Cats should deeply appreciate the 10 Principles that form the foundation of Burning Man. These principles are not just guidelines for the Burning Man; they represent a philosophy and a way of life that can lead to personal growth, community building, and a more conscious and connected existence. 

Cozy Cat Camp is not just a cool place to rest between parties, it is also a place to welcome our burner friends and engage with the community.  Cozy Cat Campers want to create and host a fun space for others and have fun.

2023 campers are REQUIRED to commit to either on-Playa build (Friday 8/26 and Saturday 8/27) or breakdown (Sunday 9/3 and Monday 9/4 morning). 

Each camper must also take 1-2 activity shifts of 3-4 hours during the event (e.g. serving tea at tea time, evening cleanup, getting ice, workshops, etc)

Pack-it-in, Pack-it-out - clean up after yourself.

Cozy Cat Camp is built through communal effort.  Be a part of the community build and decorating teams.  Reach out to get invited to the next build meeting.  You can also contribute from afar.  

Camp dues cover the infrastructure and transportation costs to bring Cozy Cat Camp to the Playa.

You are responsible for bringing what you need to Burning Man and You are responsible for bringing out everything that you brought in.  That includes your trash and food waste..  

Cozy Cat Camp does not provide power or water for RVs.

You can flag down a service truck for water and/or pump out.  This is typically a challenging process, so we suggest that you limit your usage of water for showers, cooking, etc. so that you do not need to be pumped while at the event.

Cozy Cat Camp does not provide power on a regular basis.  Campers may charge their smaller items, like cameras, phones, and usb battery packs during the camp's public open hours (a few hours each day). 

Cozy Cat Campers must obey all local, state, and federal laws.    You know what we mean.
